This release is from our Liberty Squadron Series of the America's Honor Collection. This series features nose art and air force insignia from actual combat aircraft.
Surprise Attach was a B-24M Liberator attached to the 308th Bomber Group in
the 14th Air Force in England. For a time, this plane was painted black for
night missions and this box car reflects that. The Apex Roofwalk, stirrups, and Ajax
brakewheel are all etched metal.
