This release is from our Liberty Squadron Series of the America's Honor Collection. This series features nose art and air force insignia from actual combat aircraft.
Five by Five was a P-47 Thunder bolt attached to the 379th Fighter Squadron in
the 8th Air Force in England. This plane was natural aluminum and this box car reflects that. The Apex Roofwalk, stirrups, and Ajax
brakewheel are all etched metal.
